About Us

LaVonne McDowell – Custom Interior / Sewing Instructor

I am the founder and owner of Vision 2 Reality which was established in 2005. I have 21 years of sewing experience and originally gained my initial sewing skills as a dress maker’s assistant cutting patterns. Cutting patterns was not the most glamorous job, but it allowed me to retain an enormous amount of skills. It gave me an understanding of the sewing process and a respect for the tailoring profession. For me, sewing is a gift from GOD, not a trade that I learned.
